Dropping Summer 2010 Classes

I have a student who needs to drop a summer class that he started last week. Why can’t he drop the class online?

This week’s question has been a frequently asked one by students and staff alike. The first day of instruction for the 2nd session of Summer 2010 classes was Monday, June 7th. The last day to drop these classes without a “W” was Thursday, June 10th. Currently, if a student wants to withdraw from a summer class, he or she will need to complete a petition and submit it with all of the required documentation. The deadline to drop with a “W” is the same day as the last day of instruction, August 12, 2010.
