Assigned Undeclared Students- What to take?

This week's question is a common one all across SJSU.

"New fall 2010 transfer students who have been assigned into the Undeclared major have come to my office asking me what to take in Fall. What do I tell them?"

Just like the rest of us, the Fall 2010 students are doing their best to navigate the waters of impaction. For those who are unable to take major classes, they are recommended to focus on remaining lower division GE, SJSU Studies (if they have passed the WST), minor courses, and any preparation courses for an intended major.
