Dear SJSU Advising Community,
You may recall that during the Spring 2010 semester, Academic Advising and Retention Services (AARS) distributed gray Graduating Senior Verification Cards. These cards were a great help for graduating seniors needing to enroll in classes at the beginning of the semester. Because both students and professors found the cards to be so useful, these cards will be distributed again for the Fall 2010 semester with two important changes:
1. Students in the College of Engineering will be able to pick up their cards from the Engineering Student Success Center (ESSC).
2. The cards will be lime green and will again be embossed.
Soon, students with an Application for Graduation on file for Fall 2010 graduation will receive a message via MySJSU with specific instructions about how to indicate their remaining required courses, and how to pick up their cards. Students who have already made an email request to academic.advising@sjsu.edu or who follow the instructions in the MySJSU message by Friday, August 20th will have their cards pre-prepared, making the pick-up of their cards faster and easier. Distribution of cards will begin Monday, August 23rd.

Will Graduating Senior Cards also be issued for students graduating in Spring 2011? I would like to be able to give such students preference to add my class after those graduating in Fall 2010.
