College Level Examination Program (CLEP) Info Session

Dear Community College and San José State University Advisors and Representatives,

The College Board and San José State University would like to invite you to attend a CLEP (College Level Examination Program) informational meeting. CLEP allows students to earn credit for knowledge they’ve acquired through independent study, prior course work, on-the-job training, professional development, cultural pursuits, and/or internships by earning qualifying scores on any of 33 examinations.

In this meeting, you will have the opportunity to learn about how new policies related CLEP can benefit students who are at, or plan to transfer to a CSU campus.

During the October 29, 2010 event, Dr. Maureen Scharberg, Interim Senior Director of Student Academic Success Services at San José State University (SJSU) will also discuss CSU Impaction and how it relates to students wanting to transfer to SJSU.

Lunch will be provided to participants.
