Senior Verificaiton Cards

Dear SJSU Community,

With the beginning of the Spring 2011 semester, our graduating seniors are beginning to request Graduating Senior Verification cards. As you may recall, the Graduating Senior Verification card verifies graduating senior status and confirms that, in order to graduate, the student needs the class listed on the card. The card does not guarantee that student will be allowed to enroll in a class, but that whenever possible, instructors may give priority to those with this card.

In the past, the cards have been gray and green. For the Spring 2011 semester, the cards will be yellow.

Please note:

*The "Academic Services" stamp should appear on the back of the card.

*Only one class is listed on each card (SJSU Studies courses will be listed by area)

*Eligible students have been sent a message via MySJSU with instructions about how to request a card from Academic Advising and Retention Services.

*The student's graduating term will be written in red.

*The student's personal information will be written in blue.
